Review from April 2026 - We felt Like Royalty 

I would recommend the Sligo Park Hotel to anyone getting married — it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, and there was nothing we asked for that was ever too much trouble. The wedding team, Taylor and Yasmin, will forever have a special place in my heart — they were phenomenal. They made everything feel effortless and made us feel so cared for throughout the whole weekend. We truly felt like royalty. The food was unbelievable, and from everything we heard, every guest was happy from beginning to end. I genuinely wouldn’t change a single thing about the experience. I even got emotional saying goodbye to everyone on Monday (especially after we extended our stay last minute for another night!) because we felt so looked after. It was the most special weekend, and we’ll be forever grateful to the whole team.

Review from April 2026 - Our Wedding The Best Hotel 

We had our wedding reception at the Sligo Park Hotel just over a week ago. From the very beginning the hotel made everything so easy for us. We had no doubts in booking with them and securing our date. We never once stressed about our venue - they know exactly what they’re doing and they’re pros at it.From the get go they couldn’t have been nicer and they were always so accommodating. We had 240+ guests and literally everyone enjoyed their meal. The food is beautiful, we were so happy with our menu. The service is incredible and nothing is too much trouble for them. The drinks reception was gorgeous too. The function room was set up beautifully and exactly the way we had envisioned. The bar staff were so attentive and efficient. Taylor the wedding coordinator was so nice to deal with, always checking in with us and helping us with anything we needed. She gave us some great ideas and tips for the day which we really appreciated. Yasmin and Robbie were always so friendly and helpful too. Everyone couldn’t do enough for you. Gerry always checked in with us too and on the day ensured we were all looked after incredibly. The hotel really makes you feel special and welcomed.Despite the weather being not great on our day the Sligo Park looked so beautiful and we got some gorgeous pictures there. The gardens are stunning for photos too if you had a dry-ish day. The staff were so accommodating helping us with our drop offs of wedding bits, setting up and helping us afterwards.The bridal suite was absolutely stunning too and the guests loved their accommodation. The breakfast was beautiful the next morning.The wedding packages are also great value and we loved everything in ours - especially the welcome cocktails and beautiful choice in the menu. Lots of guests enjoyed using the pool too for the cure! There’s literally not one thing we could fault with them and if you’re looking for a gorgeous venue that ticks all the boxes then we would highly recommend here!

We recently celebrated our wedding here, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The stay was comfortable, the venue was beautiful, and the food was exceptional, our guests are still talking about it!The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their helping hand and attention to detail made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our big day. Thank you to Yasmin and the entire team for making our wedding so special. Highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or event!
